Dr. Jay Barta opened The Dentist in Louisville with a passion for helping others and a commitment to excellence. His journey into dentistry began at age 15 after a dental injury sparked a fascination with the power of restorative care. Today, that same curiosity drives him to provide state-of-the-art, compassionate dentistry for patients of all ages.
Dr. Barta earned his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy and has gained experience in both small-town and fast-paced practices. Along the way, he discovered that genuine connections and dedicated care create lifelong patients. At The Dentist in Louisville, he’s created a welcoming space where people feel heard, valued, and confident in their care.
When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Barta loves snowboarding, hiking, disc golfing, and cheering on Michigan State. He’s a fan of thrillers, comedies, live music, and discovering new books, shows, and favorite artists—so feel free to share your recommendations at your next visit!
