Dr. Barta has set a standard of excellence for the entire team at The Dentist in Louisville. He has equipped the office with state-of-the-art-technology and offers a variety of services in order to provide top-of-the-line, comprehensive dental care. He strives to help each patient achieve optimal oral health and reach their own oral health goals. He is passionate about treating disease, restoring function, and helping people achieve a smile they are proud of.

Outside of the office, Dr. Barta enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, and disc golfing. When he’s not staying active, you might find him cheering on Michigan State athletics, relaxing in a hot spring, eating a delicious meal, enjoying live music, or diving into a new book, show, or movie. His favorite books, shows, and movies are thrillers, fantasy, and comedies. His favorite music genres are funk, blues, rock, folk, and jazz. I had my new patient appointment at The Dentist recently. When I walked in, the receptionist welcomed me with enthusiasm. I have never felt so appreciated at a dental office. My noon appointment started right on time. The hygienist explained everything throughout the appointment so I always knew what to expect. The X-rays and cleaning went smoothly. Dr Barta was very personable and explained all of his recommendations and reasoning. He was very thorough in his exam and identified 2 fillings in need of replacement before they developed into problems. Do You Accept Dental Emergencies?

Yes, we do our best to set aside time each day when emergencies can be seen efficiently. Our top priority is evaluating the problem at hand and getting you out of pain during this appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome; however, we cannot guarantee that you will be seen right away. We will do everything we can to fit you into the schedule, but to prevent a significant wait, we recommend you call ahead so we can understand your dental emergency and find a time in the schedule to be seen efficiently.

You are always welcome to call us, even if it is after hours. The phones forward to Dr. Barta’s cell phone after hours, and we do sometimes see patients after hours. In many cases, we help manage the emergency until the following morning when our full staff is available to help you.

Dr. Barta has extensive experience performing wisdom tooth extractions, implants, grafts, root canals, fillings, crowns, and TMJ therapy. He can help with your dental emergency!
